The interaction of energy between the Yin and Yang Dragons is symbiotic. The other side is the tail of the dragon, and this end usually pulls things back into the past. This energy pulls things forward, into the future. One end represents the head of the dragon. Their shape resembles that of a horseshoe, with a small circle at each end. In Chinese astrology, the dragon would appear through the symbols of the knots of the moon. It is believed that the dragon is attached to the moon.
